In 2023, the Schréder Together Fund supported 6 associations, nominated by employees, to make a positive impact on the well-being of the communities where they are based.

We are pleased to announce that we have achieved the EcoVadis Gold rating for the second year in a row. We have improved our sustainability rating from 68 to 71 points in 2023 which demonstrates our continued efforts and improvements in our sustainability journey. EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of corporate sustainability ratings and a reference in the B2B industries and global supply chains.

At Schréder, we are committed to reducing plastic pollution. We have implemented initiatives to become a single-use plastic-bottle-free company, reduce plastic in our products and packaging and accelerate growth in a circular economy.

Schréder, via the Schréder Together Fund, donated 46 solar street lights on GRP poles to extend community life after dark and improve the quality of life for the local community.

The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) drives ambitious climate action in the private sector by enabling organisations to set science-based emissions reduction targets. This initiative reinforces our engagement to combat climate change.

Organised by the Institute of Registered Auditors, these awards reward and encourage organisations to report transparently on sustainability issues. The winners were announced at this year’s prize ceremony on 29th November in Brussels. For this 21st edition, Schréder was awarded the Best First Sustainability Report and Sustainability Report Best Linked to the 2030 SDGs Agenda.

EcoVadis is the world’s largest provider of business sustainability ratings and a reference in the B2B industries and global supply chains. Based on 21 criteria, EcoVadis audits companies in four categories: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. After achieving the Silver rating in 2021, we improved our sustainability performance even further in 2022.

Awarded by the French Design Institute, the “Janus de la Cité” prize rewards products and services that improve the daily living environment of inhabitants and visitors. The new lighting contributed to transforming the underground passage of Perrache Station into a sophisticated space that promotes active mobility.

EcoVadis is an internationally recognised provider of business sustainability ratings and a reference in the B2B industries and global supply chains. Based on 21 criteria, the evaluation is in four categories: environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. After achieving the Bronze rating in 2020, we were able to improve our sustainability performance even further in 2021.

We have decided to not participate in any international trade fairs in the near future, including Light+Building to avoid extensive international travel and a large carbon footprint. We have decided to privilege smaller local events and trade fairs which will enable us to connect with you in a more sustainable way.
