Job Description

 

Currently, we are looking for a Category Manager – Sports and Industry to be part of our Australian team working together towards our mission – to bring meaningful moments to people in connected public spaces.

As our Category Manager – Sports and Industry you will have the following responsibilities :

  • In consultation with National Sales Manager and Business Manager, maintains national pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Responsible for budget preparation and monthly forecast reviews to ensure success of product range.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
  • Works with sales personnel to gauge market and get detailed feedback of future sales.
  • Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information
  • Develop sales tools including catalogues, price lists, promotional literature, etc.
  • Brief and train sales personnel at meetings and/or by written form Assist with product demonstrations to customers.
  • To be the bridge between sales and supply
  • Works with Logistics (Demand Planners) regarding stock, inventory, forecasts and ranging decisions (stock, make to order, re-range)
  • Determines product end of life and manages stock exit
  • Reviews and recommends modcifications and additions to required.
  • Works with Marketing for product image, packaging etc
  • Be responsible for compiling and maintaining a database relevant to this portfolio, covering market shares, competitors, size, etc.
  • Takes an active role in industry and it Associations and represent the company where appropriate and as requested on Committees.
  • Acts as a leader within the company.
  • Maintain an open communication with all employees to allow ideas/suggestions for improvement to be raised.
  • Any other adhoc duties or projects.
