PROJECT COORDINATOR

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, the Project Coordinator role will focus on the end-to-end internal project management of lighting supply into large construction projects.

You will be part of an energetic and customer focused team which helps to deliver visually pleasing architectural lighting products. The role cuts across internal and external stakeholders and is pivotal in providing high quality outcomes.

This is a role suited to someone with an ability to manage competing demands, a person who can keep a commitment and work creatively to achieve positive outcomes. Ideally some technical aptitude with experience in project estimating. Some experience using AutoCad or similar is highly desirable.

As Project Coordinator you will have a supported opportunity in helping Austube Schréder to deliver exciting and attractive linear lighting solutions into some of the foremost commercial properties in Australia. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all planning and scoping sessions are organised in a timely manner and within the set budget. Full Project management for the coordination of activities from specification stage through to post installation
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time with minimal delays. Following the deadline closely. Project Management functions including but not limited to; Project registration, quoting, planning job layouts, technical sales enquiries and project expediting for delivery on time. Liaising with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Distribution to meet project delivery time frames
  • Ensure that all standards are met according to the agreed parameters set. All tasks should be undertaken effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all clients are regularly updated on the current project meeting their needs at different priority levels. Creating and maintaining a proactive process of regular communication, ensuring all updates are communicated to our customers and sales team in a timely fashion
  • Ensure that all documents are recorded efficiently for future reference purpose. Ensure all system updates are made on time. Ensure that all reports are published for presentation and all analysis are made effectively. Utilising systems such as Servoy, Protrack, MS Office, or Draftsight to the required level.
  • Ensure that you manage your team of project workers and set them to a high standard of performance. You will be in charge of training and advising your staff on project related issues. Ensure that you delegate project work effectively so that all members contribution can be recognised.

 

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
